As a member of the CAA Airport Operations team, this role is responsible for adhering to all aspects of BDL’s Airport Certification Manual (ACM), which includes mandatory requirements set forth by Federal Aviation Regulations described under Part 139. This position is required under Part 139 to satisfy requirements for airfield inspections, implementing the Snow and Ice Control Plan, coordinating aircraft and non-aviation emergencies, responding to hazards from wildlife, and other situations that can be hazardous to aircraft operations. This role also responds to terminal and tenant needs, including escorting personnel and aircraft, maintenance reporting, and security threats.
